Once
the snow melts and the harsh Hokkaido winter ends, a small plant sprouts and
before long it displays short stems holding many small, cute, bell-shaped
flowers. Although the entire plant is not even 20 centimetres tall, these white
bells give off a beautiful fragrance. This flower is not only beautiful, but
also strong. No matter how cold the winter was, they always come up again in
spring, so as to "ring" their tiny bells...
In English, they are called "Lily of the Valley". In the Bible,
Jesus Christ is described as being the "lily of the valley".
By trusting Christ as Saviour, those here at Suzuran BBC have experienced
the wonderful fragrance of the joy He gives. Also, we seek to ring the
bells of His Gospel, so that many more will come and share in this joy.
Why don't you come and experience this for yourself at "Suzuran"?
